Ministry of Helps
Here at International Family Worship Center, each member has the opportunity to offer their gifts and talents through the ministry of Servanthood. The Kingdom of God can be advanced and the local church strengthened when each person add their supply to the body.
 
We give you the tools, training and provide an atmosphere where your service leads to a heavenly reward. The Ministry of Helps is the support arm of the Pastor which encourages spiritual growth and sets a good example by functioning in excellence through the fruits of the spirit.   Your participation will lead to a manifestation of God’s glory.
 

DEPARTMENT AND MINISTRIES

Altar Workers: Provides support for individuals who receive salvation, rededicate their lives to Christ, desire to receive Baptism of the Holy Spirit, interested in joining the Family or need special prayer.

Audio Sound – Handles the operation, recording and maintenance of all audio equipment for all services, rehearsals, classes and meetings.

Audio Visual – Responsible for all announcements that are communicated through Power Point, as well as uploading of songs for Praise and Worship.

Benevolence – Assist tithing members of International Family Worship Center in areas of need on a case-by-case basis.

Children’s Ministry
Teachers with a heart for children are used to touch the lives of young people ages 12 and under with biblical principles for everyday life. This exciting and creative teaching ministry delivers God’s Word through object lessons, music, drama, and games.

Communion – A church ordinance that is carried out on the first Sunday of each month. The elements are symbolic in nature, which represents a spiritual experience.

Community Outreach – Reaches the hearts of the people in our community. Believers will take the gospel to the streets with door to door witnessing and surveys.

Education – Assists in the spiritual development of every believer as they progress towards becoming disciples and mature believers.

Greeters – Responsible for welcoming all attendees to the Sunday and Wednesday night services and the preparation of all bulletins and offering envelopes.

Hospitality – Ensures the comfort of the Senior Pastor and Special Guests. Coordinates and provides food and refreshments for all fellowships and special events that the church offers.

Infant Care – Ministering God’s love to children 1 month to 2 years of age. Nurturing and speaking the Word over babies in a clean and safe environment.

Marketing – Supports all individual ministries of International Family Worship Center by creating flyers, mailers, screen announcements, programs or any other type of advertisement to promote specific events.

Marriage – Provides information and support to encourage and preserve the institution of covenant relationships.

Member Care – This ministry facilitates the introduction of visitors and their families to International Family Worship Center. They ensure that the visitors’ needs to be accepted and affirmed are met through developing relationships, praying together, and sharing the various ministries of International Family Worship Center.

Men’s – Promotes the sharpening and development of manhood which is reflected in Christ-likeness in every facet of life.

Missions – This area of Ministry offers support to the different Missionaries around the world through correspondence and short term trips.

Music – Consists of the Praise and Worship Team, Choirs and musicians who are responsible for setting an atmosphere for God’s presence to abide. They lead the congregation in praise and worship at all services.

Pastoral Care – Spiritually mature individuals who support the Pastors in visiting the sick and shut-ins and serving them communion.

Pastor’s Personal Assistant (PPA’s) – Called to personally assist the Pastors of International Family Worship Center and their guests at any service, conference or speaking engagement. Also to ensure that the Pastors personal needs are cared for.

Prayer – Foundation on which the ministry is built. Each service is to begin with prayer at least a half hour before the service starts. Corporate prayer is on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. There may be special prayer assignments directed by the Senior Pastor. 

Singles – Adults ages 25 and above that come together on a monthly basis to deal with topics that are relative to their everyday situations.

CD/DVD Production – Responsible for handling the duplication and sale of CD/DVDs after every service; perform editing of series, and handles mail order requests.

Ushers – Direct the foot traffic in and around the sanctuary, keep order during service, direct the collection of tithes and offerings and the serving of communion.

Women Ministry – Ministry provided for the ladies of International Family Worship Center to meet their spiritual, emotional and social needs. Their meeting time is the second Saturday of the month.

Youth Ministry - Provides ministry for teenagers 13-18 on a weekly basis. They also have special seminars, discussions and retreats to deal with topics and issues relative to their situations.
